If you have been following me on my Cloudera Blog, you probably know me well enough. I worked at Cloudera as a Support Engineer for the last 5.5 years. I have decided to move on and started at Snowflake as a Cloud Data Warehouse Engineer (Cloud Support Engineer) since last week.
Don’t get me wrong. I really enjoyed working at Cloudera and I did feel sad to leave my awesome Melbourne team. We had so many talented people to work with, great leadership and enjoyable environment. I have never thought of moving on from Cloudera, but I do see a great opportunity here at Snowflake as the very first Support Engineer in our Melbourne office, so I decided the switch.
Since I won’t have any resources to continue with my Cloudera blog, I have decided to branch my blog with a different domain and start from scratch. My Cloudera blog has its new domain as cloudera.ericlin.me, but I will stop any new posts, and all my new posts will be under snowflake.ericlin.me which will focus purely on Snowflake related technologies.
So please stay tuned and I will start my very first Snowflake post soon.
Thanks again for all your support over the years.
